Registration does not grant special access to sealed or confidential records. It subscribes the user to events the custody agency supplies through the service. If an alert never arrives, recheck the live record and contact the agency. Do not assume silence means the person remained in custody.
VINE to NAAVI Handoff

A VINE alert is fast but not conclusive by itself. Feed lag, identity mismatch, or combined event wording can change its meaning. Northern Neck Regional Jail's own current roster also warns that a very recent booking or release may not appear at once. Use both sources as time-sensitive indicators.
