A name, location, or other term entered into a search box is sent to the outside provider operating that tool. This site does not store or log those search terms on its own systems. The provider's privacy policy governs its handling once the query is submitted.
An email or contact-form message is retained as needed to read and answer it. Message content is not shared outside the organization unless a valid legal requirement calls for disclosure.

Virginia FOIA, including Virginia Code ยง 2.2-3704, governs requests made to covered public bodies. It does not turn this private site into the custodian of an agency's jail or release records.
